One to one coaching: How I coach individuals

The phenomenal success that can be achieved through coaching can be summarised in three words – focus, motivation and accountability!  Together we will keep a strong focus on your goal, I will help motivate you to take steps towards it and you will be accountable each week for taking those steps!

Coaching is usually done by weekly telephone sessions using a variety of techniques including NLP . These sessions are arranged at a mutually suitable times and whilst it is usually most beneficial to hold them weekly, there is flexibility to alter this if required. You will be asked to commit initially to six coaching sessions because I am confident that you will see dramatic improvements in this time. We can then discuss how you want to continue.

Before starting on a coaching programme I will discuss with you what it is that your own goals are and what you will achieve from coaching. All discussions will be kept totally confidential.

After this initial session, I will ask you to phone me at the agreed time so that we can start on the road to achieving your dreams. During each session I will ask you about your goal and about your progress towards achieving it. We will also explore the different options that could help to get you there and plan accordingly. You will decide what actions to commit to before the next session! During any subsequent coaching sessions we will review the actions taken. I will never tell you what to do or take over the responsibility for your development by acting as an expert - it is always the client’s choice.

After the first six sessions, we will review the progress and agree the best way forward. There is no set period of time to continue being coached - so as long as you are benefiting from the changes in your life and wish to continue with the coaching, then we can continue to work together!
