When I coach clients on weight loss I focus on how to lose weight rather than what they should or shouldn’t eat.How to lose weight is really very simple: you just need to ensure that the energy you consume in the form of calories is less than you burn up. The tricky bit is sticking to this for long enough to reach your ideal weight whilst still enjoying your daily activities.

The important thing to remember is that you always have a choice:

You can choose whether to continue with your old “fat” habits or you can choose to create new, slim and healthy habits.

You can choose to see yourself as a fat person or a slim and sexy person.

You can choose whether to eat a particular piece of food, or whether to give it a miss and get to your target weight quicker!

You can choose whether or not to take regular exercise!

You can choose to give yourself treats and rewards for your success.

You can choose whether you want to stick with it when the going gets tough – knowing that if you do you WILL reach your goal!
