Testimonials
”Helen Leach worked for Britannia Building Society as a freelance trainer for a period of approximately 4 months as part of a major merger programme. Britannia were integrating 90 new branches and retraining over 600 branch staff from the former Bristol & West Building Society. Helen was a key member of the team that delivered this training which included the delivery of a series of 5 day classroom based courses. Helen was thoroughly professional in the way she conducted herself and got excellent feedback from both the people she trained and the colleagues she worked with. Thank you Helen!”
Andy Thornton, Britannia Building Society

Content was 10/10

No time wasted on group flip chart work
Good energisers!”
Kevin Sobell, delegate on the Britannia/Bristol & West merger training
”Thank you Helen! I cannot tell you how much I have learned. It makes me wonder how I performed before you started on the raw material! I hadn’t realised my potential!! I have got so much from the coaching – you certainly do not just “train” – it is so much more. Thank you again and I hope to be able to be coached by you again”
Louise Moriarty, Mortgage Training Course Delegate
From Sept – Dec 07 Helen worked within the Learning & Development Team at Bradford & Bingley specifically to investigate the complexities of creating a standardised approach to Induction within the Contact Centres - designing and piloting the programme. Initially she held meetings with the key stakeholders in Bradford and London to ascertain what their requirements and objectives are and obtain any existing training material which could be used or amended to fit the Induction Programme.
B&B have 3 Contact Centres covering savings, mortgages and Introducer business and we asked Helen to prepare an Induction Programme suitable for a new starter in any of these areas to include an introduction to the business, overview of the Role, product knowledge, computer and telephone skills and sales skills. This included preparation of trainer notes, powerpoint slides and handouts. The challenge was to ensure that delegates only attended sessions relevant to their role. Helen also successfully designed a “First Steps” Binder to be given to the New Starter on their first day, which included an overview of the training programme, information on the Contact Centres, project work, To Do Lists and sections for notes and storage of handouts etc. She also prepared a set of Manager’s Guidance Notes to support this.
A pilot was run for 3½ weeks in November and December. There were only minor amendments needed after the pilot - which successfully achieved it's objectives and has given the Learning & Development Team a sound foundation to continue to expand the programmes within the Contact Centres
